Our Story
I began painting homes as a 16-year-old high school student in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For many years, I moved between painting as a side hustle and painting as a full-time job. Then in 2006, my side hustle moved to Arkansas, when I took a full-time youth pastor position at a church in Springdale. This side hustle grew steadily until the fall of 2015, when I decided to dive in and create a full-time residential and commercial painting business, and Schneider Painting was born.
Starting a business is not for the faint of heart. I am profoundly grateful for the help and mentorship of many, and with this crucial help, we went full-steam ahead. At times, it was sheer dogged determination in pressing through the (sometimes immense) challenges of creating and building a truly employee-based, customer-focused company. My focus was on creating a long-term presence and not a quick cash flow; I wanted to build a company on a foundation of integrity that had high standards for service to customers, as well as provided opportunities for long-term careers for our painters. I intended for us to be a longstanding and reliable presence in the community.
We have steadily grown since 2015; with each new team member that we added, we were able to surpass the various growth plateaus to reach the dream we are just now realizing. Most importantly, I’ve been able to realize my dream of creating a brand that represents a high standard of trust and integrity to our clients, and has an unwavering commitment to seeing each job through to our customer’s satisfaction. It is these traditional, “old-fashioned” values that I sought to establish, and it is a great blessing to see them come to fruition.
