Our Story
I began painting homes as a 16-year-old high school student in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For many years, I moved between painting as a side hustle and painting as a full-time job. Then in 2006, my side hustle moved to Arkansas, when I took a full-time youth pastor position at a church in Springdale. This side hustle grew steadily until the fall of 2015, when I decided to dive in and create a full-time residential and commercial painting business, and Schneider Painting was born.
Starting a business is not for the faint of heart. I am profoundly grateful for the help and mentorship of many, and with this crucial help, we went full-steam ahead. At times, it was sheer dogged determination in pressing through the (sometimes immense) challenges of creating and building a truly employee-based, customer-focused company. My focus was on creating a long-term presence and not a quick cash flow; I wanted to build a company on a foundation of integrity that had high standards for service to customers, as well as provided opportunities for long-term careers for our painters. I intended for us to be a longstanding and reliable presence in the community.
We have steadily grown since 2015; with each new team member that we added, we were able to surpass the various growth plateaus to reach the dream we are just now realizing. Most importantly, I’ve been able to realize my dream of creating a brand that represents a high standard of trust and integrity to our clients, and has an unwavering commitment to seeing each job through to our customer’s satisfaction. It is these traditional, “old-fashioned” values that I sought to establish, and it is a great blessing to see them come to fruition.

DEDICATED TEAM
Javan joined our company in August of 2020 as the manager of residential and commercial sales. With experience from both Sherwin Williams and Spectrum Paint Company, he brought with him a first-hand knowledge of the products we use every day. His knowledge and expertise have allowed him to grow into an important leadership role within the company. When not driving all over NWA meeting with prospective customers, you can find Javan spending time with his wife, their 5-year-old son, and their 2 dogs.

Sam has been an important part of our company for 5 years as our project supervisor. He brings a blend of craftsmanship, management, and logistics each day, as he oversees multiple projects throughout Northwest Arkansas. His unique set of skills has also allowed him to train our painters in every aspect of the job. Besides being a great supervisor, he is a devoted husband and father. While not at work, you can find Sam working on multiple projects around his home and farm where they are raising goats, pigs, and chickens.

Clifton has been an asset to our company for over 4 years. Originally hired as a painter, Clifton has used his skill, talent, and dedication to evolve into a lead on-site Project Manager. His responsibilities include managing multiple projects, training, and hands on painting on most of our detailed projects. When he is not painting you can find him spending time with his wife and grandchildren.

Will joined our company in 2022 and filled a crucial position we have been searching to fill for years. His role includes running multiple projects throughout Northwest Arkansas while also managing vendor and customer relationships. Will jumped into this role full force and has become a valuable member of our team. In his free time, he enjoys duck hunting, baseball, and spending time with his fiancé.

Joseph brings to our team over 18 years of construction management and sales experience. Originally from Annapolis, MD, he now resides in NWA with his wife and teenage daughter. His interests include quality time with family, outdoor activities, camping, motorcycle rides, and a passion for serving those less fortunate. In his role as Residential and Commercial Sales Manager, Joseph adds valuable expertise to make the sales process as smooth as possible.

Mike and his crew recently painted the entire interior of our church (Spring Creek Fellowship, 2120 W. Emma, Springdale, AR) and the result was AMAZING! From the estimate, to picking the colors, to prep and paint, the whole process was smooth throughout the job. His paint crews were courteous, professional, and helpful. Anytime I asked about doing something, from patching a whole to helping move furniture, their response was, "No problem!" They were very thorough with their prep work (from masking and paper covering floors), so that when they actually started painting, the job went very fast! They were also meticulous in their finishing, including a final walk-through to catch all the little spots. We had multiple bids and their price was nearly exact. Schneider's bid included the higher quality paint, where in another bid, the better paint was an upgrade. Personally, I appreciated this. They were exceptional and Justin’s attention to detail makes him an all-star of all-stars.They worked here on and off for close to 4 months.Regarding the tornado and hail from 5-26-24, our home suffered considerable damage.The quote manager Joseph was very fair. Will did a great job stopping by regularly to check on “the crew”.I met the owner after the “inside” was completed when he picked up the 1st check a few weeks ago. Good guy.The team took a break because I had to travel and then picked up even before I returned. Project has now been completed (as of yesterday) except for some minor work.This entire time I talked with Victoria who runs the office. She was more than accommodating along with everyone I met from Schneider Painting.You can’t go wrong with Schneider Painting. They are trustworthy and thorough.
The Schneider Painting team did a great job repainting the complete interior of our new (to us) house before we moved in.They handled the challenge of me being out of state during the process with zero issue.Joseph began with my site visit and provided a timely estimate, taking care to answer all my questions and make recommendations as needed. He protected me from myself as I requested him to do.He then continued as my primary point of contact on the lead up to the painting and during the painting. Providing me with timely updates and interfacing with the team on site. I know there was a project mgr assigned, I never had any contact with them as Joseph fulfilled the client interface role extremely well. I could not ask for more.Time wise they finished about 3 days earlier than the original timeline which was appreciated.The team came early, they stayed late, you could also tell they cared about the quality of their work. The drywall patching, which was not trivial due to some insulation work beforehand, looks great.My realtor had recommended Schneider Painting and he was spot on. When I had my first experience with Schneider’s paint company and their painter Sam Spelts for the first time a few years ago I finally felt like I found a painter who I know will do a great job each time without me having to worry and that made the whole process of having painting work done so much easier for me the next time. Sam was professional, honest, and straightforward with me in the consultations explaining to me what my options were when we went over estimates of the work I needed done. The first job’s painting turned out better than I expected, and then the second and third time Schneider’s and Sam came through for me with very thorough and fantastic painting work again! I was so grateful that I didn’t have to mess with tons of things being fixed or problems. It was so great knowing I could hand it all over without worrying this last time when he painted all the walls and ceilings in every space of my new house. That ability to hand this over and then it be pretty much worry free for me was worth its weight in gold because I am going to look at the walls of my house for years to come.This may be over the top to some people who haven’t met Sam yet, but I am convinced this is his calling in life because he was more of a detailed perfectionist than I was with the whole house he just painted for me! Schneider painting painted our entire house on the outside. They did an amazing job. Joal and his helper were highly skilled at replacing some damaged wood, caulking, and painting. They were extremely pleasant to work with. Mike would come by daily to ensue we were please with the work that had been completed. I highly recommend Schneider Painting for all of your painting needs.

Before they were even done we were getting calls from friends and neighbors wanting the name and number for our painter. Very professional and courteous. A real pleasure to work with. We are already planning to use them again for some interior work in the spring. Recommend 100%. Would give them 5 stars +++.
We used Schneider Painting for basically an interior whole house paint plus exterior doors. Edgar +Zeke were professional and the quality of work was excellent. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, from removing all light +electrical outlets to the caulking effects around moulding and baseboards. Once the work is complete you make a final walk through for touch ups. Would highly recommend this company.5/5 * !!!
MONEY WELL SPENT!My husband and I are pretty handy and never shy from a diy home reno project. If we’ve got the tools and know-how, then it’s hard to pay someone else to have the fun. That being said, we put off updating our interior paint for 3 years, never finding time to dedicate to it. Finally admitted it’s more than a 2 person job, and gave Schneider a call. Sam and his crew came out and did an AMAZING job, giving attention to detail as if it was their own home. They were even thoughtful enough to check if I wanted to keep our family height marks in the laundry room before painting over. (I did keep) I will 100% use and recommend Schneider for any paint job.My pictures do not do the job justice. But you can see that before we had water stains and drywall cracks. Afterwards, it’s like a brand new house, and the caulk lines are immaculate.
We replaced our vinyl siding w hardy board and wanted a deep navy paint color for the house. Service with Schneider was top notch from the very beginning. They were very responsive to schedule appointments (actually arrived to my house before I did for consult). They made specific recommendations for what we wanted and our surroundings. They sent quotes quickly and were very flexible with our construction schedule.Pricing was also perfect too (and they actually upgraded our paint at no cost due to supply issues).When it was time to work, the Painters arrived on time and early every day, worked quickly, and did a great job! Any concerns we had were addressed immediately and done in a very professional manner. We were impressed on every level with EVERYTHING about this company snd cannot recommend them enough.
New to the area, I had the pleasure to meet Mike Schneider last year while renovating our property, "The Trails on the Green" located in Bella Vista. He was wonderful and his crew did an amazing job. They were always present, on time, professional, and above all things, did quality work. Since that time, I have had Mike and his team do all the exterior work and soon take on another project for me 3 hours away. Anytime I call Mike, he is there for me.
